Our pots and similar products are made of our own acrylic resin formula, similar in nature to the branded material Jesmonite. This material is strong and long lasting when cared for correctly.

Our plant pots are carefully waxed to offer water resistance, yet they're not entirely waterproof. The material boasts natural porosity so the waxing process provides an added layer of protection. We kindly advise against submerging or leaving items in water for extended periods

For optimal pot (and plant) care, we recommend using our pots as decorative outer vessels while keeping your plants snug in their plastic nursery pots. When it's time to water your beloved greens, simply remove the plant from its plastic pot, water as needed, allow proper drainage, and then return it to its decorative home. This ensures neither your plant nor your Cloudburst Kingdom pot languishes in water for prolonged periods.

Should your pot require cleaning, a gentle wipe with a warm, damp cloth will suffice for upkeep. Not dishwasher safe.

What about texture?

The layered method I use to create my products can be unpredictable - I never know for sure what a pot will look like before I take it out of the mould. This is one of the reasons I love working with Acrylic Resin. Due to the way I create my pots there can be changes in the surface texture of the items, from bubbles and hairline cracking to a change in the feel of areas that have been sanded more than others. I see this as part of the appeal of the product.

The inside of the pots can have slightly raised areas where the one layer meets another, this does not impact the look or function of the pot as I carefully wax the inside of each piece to make it water resistant.
